I think that's pretty selfish of you! Do you really want your compatriots from the Iberian Peninsula to continue being forced to play under the Spanish flag here on lichess? That would not be reasonable!

I would therefore like lichess to include the other flags of the Autonomous Communities of Spain in its list, in addition to those already mentioned by you:
Aragon, Asturias, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Castile-La Mancha, Castile and León, Extremadura, Madrid, Murcia, Navarre, La Rioja, Valencia

And please also add the two Autonomous Cities of Spain:
Ceuta and Melilla

When this is all done by the lichess developers, could you please delete the formerly proud Spanish flag from the list - it will then no longer be needed.

I'm happy to play under the Spain flag, as it's my country. But just as the UK has nations -and their respective flags-, Spain has also some nations. I would like to enjoy those flags as much as I enjoy the spanish one.

Interesting that you mention this when you do not have the official national flag of Belarus on your profile :)

I have read the text, but it is already very late, so I will repeat it again tomorrow to understand the content correctly.

You mention that my profile does not show the official flag of Belarus - correct, and I can assure you that I will never show it again in my life!

I have the opposition flag (red-white-red), which has a long tradition. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, this was the national flag of Belarus from 1991 to 1994 (it was also from 1917 to 1919).

Then came the tyranny of dictator Alexander Lukashenko, who, along with his Russian-controlled entourage, is oppressing the people of Belarus and ruining the country. One of his first official acts was the redesign of the flag (red-green), which is official to this day. - The opposition and the diaspora reject this flag!

If in the near future hopefully someone will liquidate the terrorist Putin, Lukashenko will breathe his last the same day. Then Belarus will get its flag back in red-white-red!
