"Awww snap!"

I keep getting Google's "blue screen of death" on my lichess tab, which says "Awww snap! This plugin has stopped working", or an error of that sort. I think it started yesterday or the day before. (And it's only happened on lichess.)

I've gotten a few of them too... sometimes when I'm not paying attention, sometimes when I am.

Specs: Windows 7, Up-to-date Chrome, Pink Floyd in the background (Shine on you crazy diamond, part 9).

I am also getting this

Chrome released version 40.0.2214 around that time 2015-02-05.

There is a few issues for OSX with certain characters, try going to http://en.lichess.org/team and scroll down and see if that triggers it. I could not reproduce this in windows, tried a few pages on lichess and the 2 sites in these issues:

(I had that problem with chromium on linux some months ago on the teams page, but that has been fixed in newer chromium.)

Yeah, this happened to me thrice today. Once when I was seeking a game, once when I was doing a computer analysis, and once when the page was just open to the forum.

Hasn't happened before this date though.

I didn't read it (the blue 'aw snap' page), so I'm not sure if it said something about a plugin, but it definitely said that the page crashed and I should reload it.

The same thing is happening for me

and with me (it says something like "Oh no...")

fortunately it happens never when playing but often when entering my profile page and the forum (by the way; can post here only since some minutes the last hours there were no reply button there at all)

Same for me.
I've reinstalled the new version of chrome (40.0.2214.111) because mine was out of date and since then, I've got that blue screen too.
Like flugsio, I'd bet there's something related to that version but I don't know what.
