Did you?

Have you ever get addicted to chess?
I was addicted to chess when I was playing for the first time. But soon I got a serious headache and take a rest for 3/4 days but come back again because is was hard for me to quite myself from having fun with playing chess.
Yes, I became obsessed with chess and was unable to stop, playing 5-20 games every day, and at that point it became unhealthy the amount of time I was spending on chess. I took a 2-3 month break and came back, playing slower, better, and thinking more throughout my moves. Before the break I loved playing quick games e.g. ultrabullet, bullet, and rarely played blitz and rapid. Then after the break I came back refreshed, playing a lot better, as my rating unexpectedly increased. In hindsight the pause from chess was well needed although now I slightly struggly to get back into the "chess spirit". But overall taking breaks is important for your health, hence the famous quote "Too much of a good thing is a bad thing" By William Shakespeare.
