Game timed out for me even though I watched the opponents clock time out

I was playing a game and the opponent had not made a move after 16.Nd4 and I watched their clock time out from 15:13.4 to 0:00 then no points were rewarded I refreshed the screen and it showed I had lost to a time out after 16.Nd4...c5 which never happened on my end until after the game was lost. I was playing on mobile for context to where this bug occured.

Sounds like your connection was lost, hence not updating the UI after your opponent moved.

It was an internet disconnect.
