If you wanna become a GM, play more rapid and get prepared by reading endgame books. Next, participate in FIDE-rated OTB tournaments and after playing many OTBs,increase your FIDE rating. Slowly but surely, get three norms for the CM title, and upgrade yourself to CM. Get more norms, and gradually get NM, FM, IM, GM.
