Funny opening

I was wondering about 2. c4 in reply to 1. ... f6, as opposed to the more challenging 2. e4 (intending to eventually pound your opponent to dust in the middle game as punishment for their dubious opening choices), but I was shocked to see when I visited the opening explorer that not only is c4 the most played move in that position, but even Nf3 is more popular than e4! I don't know why so many people are so content to just let their opponents achieve a reasonable position unhindered after such an absurd move...
Even more amusing, the computer says that the best move after d4 f6 Nf3 is f5!
Nice game. I like the opening. You could say that 1...f6 and 9...f5 loses a tempo, but in the normal King's Indian defence black often plays Nf6, Ne8, f5, Nf6 and thus loses 2 tempi. Here the knights go Ne7, Nd7, Nf6. Normally they go Nf6, Nc6, Ne7. So that is just the same.
