My attack, which should be winning, did not go through. I had 13 mistakes. What went wrong?

I thought that even though I had to play 16.Nc3, black's two moves that were gained (14...Ra4 and 15...Re8) were not particularly useful, why I get to block out the g6 knight from moving to e5. However, after looking at the position more, I realized I could also play something like 14.Qe3 Nge5 15.Nd5, but even then, the computer *still* doesn't like Nd5 much. I don't understand why.

As forthe Nf4-h5 thing, I guess I thought a seventh-rank knight would work as well as a seventh-rank rook lol.

After 32.Nf6 Qf7 33.b4 Rxa3 34.Qxa3 Qxf6, the computer evaluates the position as +1.7 (depth 26/26), which I guess is probably winning. Before Nf6, though, the computer evaluates the position as +4.9 (depth 22/26), which is kind of ridiculously huge.
Well, +1.7 is sufficient for the win...worst case scenario you trade down to winning rook vs knight endgame.Better to play the good practical move quickly than the absolute best and take ages off your clock! :)
#12 32 Nf6 is again a mistake: the knight is perfect on d5. Correct is 32 Rh1 threatening 33 Rxh6, 34 Rxh7+
Knights like central squares, rooks like open files.

The two free black moves 14...Ra4 and 15...Re8 activate his rooks.

14 Qe3 Nge5 15 Nd5 again is premature. You cannot let his knight occupy the central square e5, which counterbalances you outpost Nd5.

14 Qe3 Nge5 15 f4 Nc4 16 Qf3 is strong for you. Bf1 attacks Nc4, you control the centre. You can attack with your rooks and your queen and as he has no grip on the centre he can neither defend nor counterattack effectively. You wrongly dismissed this line, i.e. you misevaluated.
Anyway, I can hardly imagine that you identified 2 candidate moves 14 Qe3 and 14 Nd5, evaluated above line 14 Qe3 Nge5 15 f4 Nc4 16 Qf3, then evaluated to the same depth 14 Nd5 Ra4 15 Qe3 Re8 16 Nc3 and found that much better.
You also gave black the opportunity to trade away your strong knight: 14...Bxd5 or 15...Bxd5. That would blunt your attack and fuel his counterattack.

#13 +1.7 is not always enough for a win. May rook vs. knight endings are draw. Besides black is not forced to give up the exchange.

I disagree with the good practical move quickly: quick subpar moves drag out the game and lead to time trouble. The good move often ends the game in a few moves.
