Pareidolia chess patterns

Pareidolia is a false pattern perception. It's like seeing ghosts in a chess pattern.

Yesterday I was looking at the hook tactical pattern. It took me a while to visualize a fishing hook in the tactical pattern. It might have been nice to have it drawn out. The rook and the direction it is heading is the stem of the hook. The king is in the loop of the hook. I'm still not sure where the pawn fits in the image of a hook.

The icons in the themes are nice. They fit well with the name of the tactic, like they were analogies or metaphors. lichess.org/training/themes

What can help us visualize true chess patterns?
