What is your playstyle?

-Why isn't Anand there? Anand should be there. :) I just listed a few players with relitivly different styles and hoped someone would say some normal answer like Capablanca or Mikhail Chigorin. :)

I like your idea of solid then attacking. Something I try and do. Not intended to be the most passive player but to surprise opponent when they are not thinking that I would start an attack. However my attacks die off. So gambit chess might be something I can learn from.

Seems like we got a pretty big mix of all kinds of players.
Do you like tactics or maneuvering?
I don't like a little tactic to win a pawn for example, then i find maneuvering way nicer. I do like a fulblown sac it all attack

Castling side? Queen or kingside?
Mostly kingside I'd say so, mostly because of my openings

How much do you pay attention to details in the opening such as gaining / keeping / or making your opponent lose a tempo?
Nah, I rather get a nice position although i have played games were i didnt take the pawn for better pieces

What kind of pawn structure do you like or not care?
I like the french pawn stuctures for white as I have completely destroyed people using pawn marches like h3 g4 g5 h4 f5 which mainly possible in the french

Do you like being a pawn up or having initiative?
A pawn initiative slowly fades, as long as it doesnt mean a worse position. That is why i dont mind the Morra

Sacking or solid?
Solid were i can build a good endgame

Favorite players playstyle? Tal / Petrosian / Kasparov / Fischer / Karpov / Kramnik / Morphy? What do you play like and what do you like the most visually?
Tal Is my favorite as he attacks like a god

Stop your opponents threats or make your own?
Making counterthreads

Favorite pawns to push?
The G-pawn makes for nice attacks if it happens

Endgames, middlegames or openings?
Endgames

Counter attacking / defending / attacking?
Attacking

Favorite openings?
Ponziani Sicilian Spanish Ben-Oni

First instinct when someone does this lichess.org/7vVBQdLZ#20:
Take on g5 with the knight and keep the pin / get two pawns plus attack. Or just go back.
Go back that sac is idiotic

Pet peeves you have yourself? habits?
My habit is to not be around the board a lot, that means playing a move going for a walk and only coming back when it is needed

Bullet Blitz Classical or regular tournament length time controls 40/2hrs +5s delay + 1 hour?
Blitz or 90 Minutes +30 seconds

Bishops or knights?
Bishops

How long have you been playing?
Since I was 8 so thats 6 years

Link to your best game ever played?
I will say this one as i like the ending position and it is my best rated victory http://nl.lichess.org/L7rMtBhc

Is the dutch defense in your opinion "garbage"?
No opinion

e4 e5, d4 d5, d4 nf6, or e4 c5? Order?
I assume this is ment for blacks perspective e5 c5, d4 nf6, d4 d5, e4 e5 when I am dead

Describe yourself as a player.
Trying to add little advantages to make a big advantage and in dus win
LOL, I think I don't have a clear style. I usually go with the flow. I don't understand myself as a chess player. I like tactics, I'm good at tactics, but I prefer to play solid if possible. LOL. I have zero intuition. In fact I very often make mistakes when I have to play instinctively. So I never sac if it's not a clear thing. I admire players like Kasparov and Tal, but I love Karpov's and Carlsen's style. But I must admit: my favorite players are engines. I'm fascinated with them. 60% of all I know about chess come from playing against strong engines. People shouldn't hate engines. They are the gods of chess and we can learn a lot from them.
@todo_pro interesting. I like to play engines too. I lose but I still like to play them. However my whole chess ideas come from making long term plans something computers are not so good at.
@todo-pro glad to meet another person like me who admires chess engines and sees that we can learn from them even more then we can learn from Carlsen, Fischer and others.
yes, sakram07! Besides, one day engines will be able to explain all their moves and teach us better.
@DaanNoordenbos Yes but if you have ever seen a Rashid game you would know what he would do. Doesnt mean its good but in those types of positions it is something to consider. Plus I was asking for instinct not if it was good or not. The position could be anything like it. Just wondering what others instincts were.
