Interesting. I agree lichess has issues a lot with connection. More so than other sites. I get reconnecting at least 3 times a day sometimes its constant.

Maybe it's time to introduce some kind of distributed infrastructure? For example, twitch uses multiple servers all over the world, so people could experience less lag. Something similar might be done with lichess. You just can't put all your eggs in one basket.
