Lichess and me

I thought it was because you were done with wraps? cough cough

My own reason - the last career I had meant sometimes I had hours to spend on my own, trying to spend without getting into mischief. I think I stumbled upon the website at least 2 or 3 years ago because I seem to remember the interface....Anyway, it wasn't until the start of last year that I discovered even more spare time on my hands that I found myself knocking on the door.....
I haven't tried any of the other sites - but then I don't think I need to. I've got chess, humour and now poetry here...

Well I personally HAVE tried other sites. Not to mention I've read about them.

Chesscube, ICC, FICS, and chess.com seem to be the most popular.

I've been a member of chess.com (free member), as well as FICS........so I'm not the most experienced as far as other chess sites go. However, I found FICS and chess.com to be notably lacking compared to lichess. Lichess looks and feels better, and is more interesting than the stale FICS, and is much more involved and unrestricted than the free version of Chess.com.

From what I have read about Chesscube, it seems unnecessary to waste time there, when I have lichess. As for ICC, it might be good, but I don't wish to pay for the possibility of playing chess online.

I did forget to mention that the forums on chess.com are superior to lichess forums.

Come on lichess! Let's have some more options for posting! The option to edit, delete, quote posts, and use italics would be an obvious improvement.

Forum upgrades would be great though :) like phpBB's forums. Those are damn fancy. Love those forums XD created one because I loved it so much (but nobody joined so I deleted it -.-)

This is literally my first online experience (except OKcupid) and I found it by chance and am loving it.... BUT as a novice, it sounds like the forum upgrade *with italics* is a fantastic idea...

This past summer I saw some YouTube vids from Zibbit while he was playing here on Lichess. I loved the cool tones and the clean look and was thrilled with free. After playing I simply fell in love.

I start to play Lichess in 2013, with the name "Islands", but then, someone hack my account and I have to make a new one.
By the way, "xadrez" means "chess" (in Portuguese, so the xadrez is = to shadrez (translate.google.pt/#en/pt/chess)) and "pt" is an
abbreviation of "Portugal".
I love Lichess, I'd like to know if there is something that an 11 years old boy can do for help...
